When you install the new Office 365 Office or do an update, the Excel-add-in disappears from the Excel. To enable/install it back, please follow these steps:
Go to the Setup files for AX:
In my case, they are saved here in this UNC path: \\EPAXAPP01\AX2012Data\Dynamics AX
Right Click ‘Setup.exe’ and ‘Run as Administrator’
Click ‘Microsoft Dynamics AX Components’:
Accept the license terms and click ‘Next’.
Click ‘Add or modify components’ and click ‘Next’.
Select ‘Office-Add-ins’ under ‘Client components. Click ‘Next’.
Verify all the prerequisites are full-filled. Click Next.
Click ‘install’ to install the add-ins.
Once the installation successfully finished, open Excel and your Excel-add-in should work now.
