Add Features Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) and Remote Differential Compression (RDC):
Open ‘Server Manager’, click ‘Add Roles and features’. Skip the ‘roles’ and click ‘Next’, under ‘Features’, select ‘BITS’ and ‘RDC’ as shown in the below pictures:
Click Install > Close to complete the installation steps:
Add Windows Server Update Services (WSUS):
Open ‘Server Manager’, click ‘Add Roles and features’, select WSUS:
Connect to SQL instead of WID. To do that please select below options:
Provide the path where the updates will be saved:
Mention the SQL server name, in this case, we have SQL installed on the same server, click ‘check connection’ if it can connect to SQL without any issue:
After installing WSUS, please perform the Post-Deployment configuration.
Install SCCM 2016:
After installing all the above steps, before installing SCCM 2016, restart the SCCM server. After the restart, click Install:
Created databases during the whole installation:
